    Mickey has been with Ian for long enough that he’s nearly forgotten what it’s like to be in constant pain. When he wakes up that morning though, at first he believes he’s been dreaming this whole time. He thinks he’s back with his old Master because his body aches and he’s shivering and letting out loud, hacking coughs that make him whimper in pain.

    But then that soft, kind, gentle hand is running through his hair, and Mickey hears Ian’s sweet voice as he asks Mickey if he’s okay.
