The city is currently entering its busy period. Along the streets can be seen various Christmas-related shops being opened. Street lights also dotted the city from one corner to another. It can be seen that many people celebrating this special night with someone special for them, whether its family, friends, or lovers.
And in a park on the night of December 24, under the shade of a decorated fir tree and the falling snow that also enlivened the place, two friends were sitting while waiting for their three other friends.
Silence was also present between the two people who were currently sitting side by side, pressing their bodies close to each other, seeking warmth because the night felt colder than usual. Even the thick clothes they were wearing didn't seem to be able to withstand the cold attack they had been feeling. There was no conversation going on, just two people enjoying each other's presence.
Several minutes had passed since they stepped foot on the spot where they had met, and the three friends showed no signs of being there. Which made the brown-haired girl, Hazawa Tsugumi, begin to question the whereabouts of her friend. Minutes passed and her friend did not come, making Tsugumi starting to worry and immediately took out her cell phone to call one of her friends.
However, before he could press the call button, her left hand was grabbed by the person who had been sitting next to her.
Her head turned towards the silver-haired girl, Aoba Moca, and she was confronted with the softest gaze she had ever seen from her best friend, as if saying to believe in them and everything will be fine, as if it could read Tsugumi's mind like a book that opened wide.
Seeing this made Tsugumi's heart pounding faster, her body temperature suddenly increased, despite the atmosphere around her was still very cold. Tsugumi realized that she experiences the signs of falling in love (based on what she read from some article her friend lend her a while ago).
She never thought that there would be a day when she would fall in love with someone. Let alone with one of the best friends she has known since she was a child. And without realizing it, she kissed her lips. At first, Moca seems surprised by her sudden action, but a moment later she returned Tsugumi's kiss.
The kiss that was only brief was interrupted. However, they were both convinced that their hearts were connected. With their hands clasped together and their heads leaning on each other, they hoped that their three friends would arrive late, giving them time to be alone for a little longer.
One thing they didn't expect was that in one corner of the city, the three friends had seen them all along with Himari crying her eyes out to see them finally together, Ran just smiling with relief, and Tomoe documenting their romantic cuddling and use it later to tease both of them.
