Team couldn’t sleep without his Hia Win. Hia knew that. Team knew that, as well.
He knew that he couldn’t sleep unless he saw Hia, unless he hugs him and keeps him close, letting Team inhale his scent as Hia whispers sweet nothing into his ears. He knew those nightmares were hell of a pain in the ass and he’d probably turn into a shivering mess at night without Hia by his side, he’d probably stay awake the whole night.
And if it had not been any other day, he’d have grabbed his pillows and knocked at Hia’s door… like any other day.
But, today was different.
Today, Hia had his friends over, P’Dean and P’Phruek. And he wanted Hia to spend time with his friends as much as he wanted him to stay with him. Afterall, Hia deserves a break too. He had been taking such great care of him.
Bringing him breakfast, letting him wear his clothes, dropping him off at uni, making out with him in the swim club washroom, fucking him and cuddling him to sleep, calming him down from nightmares; he has been doing so much for Team, everyday, without complaining.
And even though Hia had argued to let Team stay with them, Team had rejected the offer like the obedient junior he is.
It was 2 at night, Team stayed awake, tossing and turning on the bed. It was not a nightmare or anything, this time. Rather, the amount of caffeine intake didn’t let him sleep. The young lad sighed for the zillionth time as he picked his phone from the nightstand. To text his beloved Hia, obviously.

Win kept his phone in his pocket as he grabbed Team’s keycard from the drawer. A small smile spread across his face remembering how cute his favorite boy can be sometimes. And now he was sneaking out at night to meet him.
And suddenly, he felt like a young teenager in love all over again; sneaking out to meet his secret lover in the dark. The things Team did to him…
“Sneaking out to see your boyfriend, Mr. LoverMan?” Phruek sneered.
Win mouthed a ‘fuck you’ as he closed the door, off to his beloved boy, Team’s room.
Win was a tough guy, he was sure. But there was just something about Team that didn’t let him suppress his smile, all the way. All the way, he’d been thinking about Team, he’d been thinking about the way he was the only person Team would text this late at night (Pharm and Manaow were exceptions) and ask to come over, the way Team would let him hold his body close, the way Team would blush and hide his face in the crook of Win’s neck and secretly smile, the way Team looked so dreamy and pretty when he slept, the way his face would show no frowns or tiredness and everything would just seem so simple and alright, the way he- Shit, he should stop.
It literally sounds like he’s in love with Team or something.
He isn’t.
Or atleast he’s trying to convince himself.
Team left the door to his room unlocked, beforehand. It's almost as if he knew his Hia would barge in to cuddle him. Intuition, you could say.
Win twisted the doorknob and entered the room, just to see his pretty boy cuddled against the duvet. He went to him and stood beside him. Seeing Team like this, all snuggled up in his blue blanket, eyes closed looking ever so peaceful and at rest, shook something inside him.
That's it. That's the last straw. He’s doomed. He’s in love. He’s fallen in love hard, real hard.
Team opened his eyes, feeling a hand running through his hair, softly. It was his Hia!
He let out a warm smile upon seeing his Hia, right beside him, running his fingers through his hair.
And it was a comfort greater than ever; knowing that Hia will always be right beside him, holding him close. Just one call, and his Hia is ready to fight against the world for him. And it was so comforting to know that, to feel that.
Rest assured, he’ll always be by his Hia’s side, as well. Supporting Hia through cute notes or forehead kisses, whatever it is; he’ll never take Hia for granted and love him the same, or maybe more. More than he has ever loved anyone.
“Did I disturb your sleep, baby?”
Team slightly shook his head in denial as he moved slightly to make space for the other.
Win adjusted on the bed, wrapping his arm around his forever beloved boy.
“Good night, Hia”
“Good night, baby”
God, he loved Team so much. Win thought to himself as he looked at the very same person in his arms, looking ever so pretty. He wanted to kiss him and tell him how he loved him so badly. But for now, he’s gonna let that slide.
He more than loved having Team in his arms, as well.
