I love my mental illness

Summary:

What if Bucky stabbed Steve in the back in Siberia?
What if he couldn't do it mentally anymore and surrendered to Tony?
If maybe Tony uses that and uses Bucky to eliminate his enemies and gain world domination?
What if Bucky becomes Tony's little killer kitten?

Work Text:

He had no idea why he did that.

Okay, actually that was a lie. He could think of at least half a dozen reasons.

Steve had been an asshole, not to him but to Tony. He just couldn't let himself hurt him out of principle.

Back in Siberia when Tony looked at him with those eyes. With those dark, deep eyes, he couldn't help it.

In the end, whether what Hydra did to him contributed to his decision. No idea.

But he didn't care.

He was happy where he was now.

And he doesn't regret it.

As long as he got what he wanted, he really would do anything to get it.

And right now that was Tony's attention, not his cock, not his touch, not being asked for his opinion, just his eyes on him.

The last few days were the best in his life.

He had killed people. For Tony.

The moment he cut her throat or strangled her every single time, it didn't matter. Because he loved it, this feeling of ecstasy, this intoxicating feeling. By knowing that Tony was always watching him.

Tony wanted him to prove his loyalty after going with him in Siberia.

He did it.

Knocking out Rogers from behind and handing Tony over to him, he loved it.

In a dark cell for days with nothing to eat and just the feeling of the cameras on him, he loved it.

Kneeling in front of the Ironman suit and the feel of the metal glove in his hair, he loved it.

Finally, the first time he killed someone for Tony, he loved it.

When Tony pulled him onto his lap after killing Justin Hammer, he loved it.

And also the moment when Tony had slapped him against the walls because Bucky had killed his mother. He could only love it.

If people thought he was crazy for enjoying this, then they should. Tony gave him everything he needed. Bucky's soul was able to feed on him through Ironman's eyes alone.

Even when Stark literally welded a collar of vibranium on him, he could only adore that man.

Bucky lived in Stark Tower now, he was happy. Maybe he didn't smile, but he rarely did in the last 70 years anyway. He wore his collar the whole time, the gold and red metal shimmering in the light clearly showing who it belonged to.

Tony had made him his angel of death, or rather his killer kitten as he had been called for a while. And every time he killed someone, the collar sparkled and they knew who sent him.

Tony was merciful in contrast to Hydra. He fed him, had him washed regularly, and was given free rein on his missions.

He was even given a motorbike.

He only had to ask Tony if he wanted out, if he didn't think it was a waste of time then he was allowed to.

It didn't make any difference, he could always find him with the collar anyway.

Bucky just sat on the floor, he didn't know why, he didn't care either. Tony told him to sit and wait and he did.

He was in what used to be the Avengers common room.

Now it was only Tony's living room that he rarely entered.

Since all of the Avengers who weren't on Tony's side were now in prison, Tony lived here all by himself apart from Bucky.

Bucky thought it was fair, Ironman was always right, there was no doubt about it. What Rogers did was stupid.

And he wasn't asked for his opinion, he just wanted his peace, but Rogers took it and dragged him into the Civil War and dragged him to his side.

As he reminisced about the fight, many also brought back images of Ironman fighting the other Avengers.

He liked these pictures, besides the information Bucky got from Hydra of the Avengers, he now had personal assurance that Tony could protect him.

He had already proven that when they left Siberia and Bucky ran after Tony while Tony had Rogers slung over his metal shoulder, Ironman had destroyed the Hydra base. The filing room was set on fire and the base slowly began to burn. The chair, the source of Bucky's pain and all of his torment and humiliation over the past few decades, was ripped off its hinges and hurled across the room.

Later, when they were on the plane, Tony decided that he would take them up to the tower.

Bucky was practically thrown into the dark cell and Ironman stalked in, head held high, collar in hand.

His chest is pressed hard against the cold concrete floor as a metal foot is placed between his shoulder blades.

He could barely breathe and when his hair was grabbed and his spine was twisted unnaturally, he had to stifle a groan.

The truth was, after all these years with Hydra, he couldn't live alone anymore. He needed a guiding hand that could be rough with him. Not like Rogers who treated him like he was about to break. But someone like Tony, who showed him clear boundaries and could help him not to have to understand himself.

When Tony put his collar on him and Bucky felt the coolness on his skin for the first time, it melted like butter. He didn't know why, it didn't matter.

But Ironman noticed, and a derisive chuckle broke out of him, cutting through the silence.

"First you try not to moan and now this. Come on you fucking asshole tell me why. Why does it turn you on when you're out of control? This isn't going to end well for you. The FBI, the CIA, I don't care who they are. They won't find you You're here to be taught a lesson.

I don't care what Hydra did to your head. You have done it. And I want you to do it again"

His head was released and slammed into the floor with full force, his joints too loose to tense in time. His nose collided uncomfortably with the cold surface and broke.

Bucky felt warm blood drip down his lips and hit the floor softly. It was dead quiet, Ironman was gone faster than Bucky hit the ground.

Now, after two weeks of showing acceptance of the collar, having shown himself in every way possible to give himself to Tony willingly, Ironman was still rude to him, but not with one like that complete anger as at the beginning.

On his first mission Tony said he wanted to see Justin Hammer's head roll, Bucky knew it was a joke. And yet he slit the man's throat and removed his entire skull.

He didn't care that he got his hands indecently dirty. He brought Hammer's head to Tony and rolled it in front of the man's shoes. Bucky dropped to his knees before his god stood up in the same breath.

Bucky was then rewarded with his first real meal in a long time, on Tony's lap. Hydra only punishes, Tony rewards.

And now he was in the living room, waiting for his god.
