Wednesday stared at Enid, wondering why the werewolf girl wasn’t going to do anything about the spilled blood that had been poured onto her body. Lips curling up into a sneer, Wednesday continued to look at Enid, wondering if the girl was going to make a move. However, the more Enid simply remained in the same spot, doing nothing but trembling, Wednesday knew she had to be the one to protect the girl. How disgraceful. The black-haired girl didn’t want anyone torturing the blonde-haired girl because they weren’t her. Wednesday was something but she wasn’t cruel. Vengeful as she was, Wednesday only sought to hurt people if they hurt anyone she likes.
Enid noticed the way Wednesday’s breathing had changed and she knew she had to stop the girl from attacking someone. “It’s alright, Wednesday. I will be f-fine.” Enid tried to convince the shorter girl that she would be okay but with the way Wednesday’s breathing wasn’t being leveled, Enid knew that the girl had already known she had been lying. She’s not convinced. The girl knew Wednesday had a protective streak when it came to her friends and family but for the Wednesday Addams to be expressing her emotions like that in the open, Enid knew someone was going to get hurt and she didn’t want Wednesday to get in trouble. “Please.” She tried one last thing and God, Enid knew it was going to work.
She knew Wednesday hated to hear her distressed and so when Enid begged her to stop, Wednesday stopped. With a frown on her lips, Wednesday turned to the other girl, not saying anything. “Fine.” The dark-haired girl conceded, knowing she didn’t want to disappoint Enid and so, she folded her arms across her chest and watched Enid with a watchful gaze. Enid wasn’t trying to be surprised that Wednesday had actually stopped but she just assumed that the girl wouldn’t have listened to her. Of course, Enid had been learning new things about her roommate lately. “Don’t expect me to listen to your pleas ever again.” Despite the words, Enid knew that the girl was lying. Wednesday was always going to listen to her pleas, no matter what she wanted to do.
“You didn’t have to actually listen to me, you know that right?” Enid told her and Wednesday scoffed with a roll of her eyes.
“An Addams always listen to their love.” Wednesday admitted and Enid blushed at the words, not expecting Wednesday to have been so honest with how their relationship was. “As much as revenge burns in my soul, my love for you burns even more.” Wednesday was honest as she stared into Enid’s gentle eyes. “That is why I obey you. I never want to make you upset.” The girl told Enid and the blonde-haired girl couldn’t believe that Wednesday had listened to her in the first place.
“Is that due to the Addams’ Family Curse?” Enid questioned and the giggle that left Wednesday’s lips made Enid flush and she knew her answer as soon as Wednesday had laughed. She’s laughing. Enid knew it wasn’t a rare sight to see Wednesday laughing since she does it around her but it was still shocking to see that the girl was learning more about her emotions as she continued to date Enid.
“The curse causes Addams to love obsessively so yes it is due to the curse.” Wednesday said, staring at Enid, waiting for the girl to take in her words.
“You mean…” Enid trailed off, noticing Wednesday’s hand gently caressing her cheek.
“A deep love that never stops even when we’re long gone.” Wednesday smiled.
