November 9th, 1989
My Dearest One,
I’ve been wanting to write this letter to you since the moment I found out I was pregnant with you. Your other Momma, Maverick or Pete I should say, told me that he smelled the telltale signs that I was pregnant again. You might be thinking again!? But I was pregnant with your older brother Bradley first!
Enough about that though, I came to write these letters for you and our family to read when you’re older and out of Mommy’s belly. I can’t even tell that I’m pregnant yet. My belly’s still so small. You’re like a little peanut floating around inside my belly, and I can’t tell you how happy that makes me.
I’ve always been proud of our family. For how strong and beautiful everyone is, there’s just something so special about being proud of your children. Your oldest brother Bradley just turned seven! It’s like every time I blink he’s grown so much bigger. He has the biggest smile and he’s already such a great big brother to your other siblings Josephine and Ethan. Ethan and Joey are two years old and they orbit your brother like he’s the sun. I imagine you’ll do the same when you’re here. Bradley will want to hold you and give you all the love he has in the world.
Bradley is such a born leader. He’s our family's pride and joy! I can’t wait to see what he does as an adult, but… I hope he doesn’t grow up too fast. He looks just like Daddy Goose did as a baby and how rude! I carried him for nine months just for him to be a carbon copy of your Daddy!
Your sister Joey marches to the beat of her own drum. She’s so smart and clever, but she’s got the temper of a firecracker and I worry that’ll get her in trouble one day. She looks just like her Daddy Ice, with her beautiful blonde hair and her breathtaking face. She’ll be a heartbreaker for sure.
Now your other brother Ethan is a little angel. Quiet and charming. He’s so shy and yet has the most beautiful smile. He’s just as beautiful as Mommy Mav, he clings to his mommy every chance he gets and I hope that when you’re born you and I can have a bond that strong.
