Lavender couldn't exactly say that Christmas was her favorite holiday in the world, nothing against it, there were just better ones. But, this year....Things were different.

This Christmas would not just be her first while dating Parvati, but it would be their one month anniversary. It had to be special! And Lavender only had five more days to plan for it!

She wished she had more time all together, but she didn't know Parvati would ask her out before a month ago. And then she hadn't really thought about Christmas until a week prior as she never really celebrated it anymore.

Over the past week Lavender had collected everything she needed to make sure this Christmas was perfect for her girlfriend, except one thing.

What was that one thing? Lavender had no idea. She hadn't figured it out yet. But, she needed it! One last thing to show her girlfriend how special she truly was to her!

Jewelry? But, she was already getting Parvati a necklace, it felt cheap. Candy? That's what a stocking was for. A book? But, Parvati wasn't a big reader.

It was impossible!

But, she had to make it possible! It was for Parvati! It had to be spectacular, just like the woman herself!

Lavender paused, with a gasp. She was currently browsing a muggle mall, and had just seen 'it'. The thing she HAD to get Parvati.

A small, brown, stuffed bear with a blue bow tie. It wasn't much, but it was adorable. More importantly, it was nearly identical to a stuffed bear Parvati had owned when she was a little kid.

Lavender knew that her girlfriend would adore the gift. And that's what she wanted more than anything in the world; Parvati's happiness.

Lavender felt her heart sink a little when she saw the price tag.

30 pounds, or six galleons....Lavender thought that was absolutely ridiculous for a stuffed animal, and honestly she wasn't anywhere near rich....But....She would still get it....Anything for Parvati....Anything....

So, Lavender picked up the bear and brought it to the cash register. After it was checked out the cashier asked if she wanted it gift wrapped, but Lavender said no.

Lavender wanted to do it herself, it felt more special. She wanted to make Parvati feel special. She wanted, no needed, to show the slightly older woman how much she cared.

Lavender just hoped Parvati would actually like the gift.

It wasn't a mistake right?

Parvati sighed in exhaustion. There were three minutes until midnight and she had just finished wrapping her girlfriend's Christmas gifts.

Parvati hadn't been sure how many to get. She didn't want to go overboard, but she also didn't want to make Lavender feel like she didn't matter by not buying enough. In the end she had picked out ten things.

She hoped it was the right amount....Lavender deserved to feel like a queen, even if just for a day. And Parvati was determined to give that feeling to her....But....Was she able to, or was she messing everything up?

Parvati...she had tried her best to get stuff Lavender would like. But, she also didn't want it to all be predictable.

Lavender was getting a charm bracelet, a makeup box, a new eye shadow palette, some superhero comic books, two dresses, and a set of muggle playing cards.

But, Parvati wondered...was it correct? Should she have gotten more fashion stuff, less? Would Lavender like comic books like she did?

Parvati sighed, again....Less than a week until Christmas, gifts bought and wrapped, yet she was still here trying to decide what Lavender would get.

She was being ridiculous, it was too late to change things now, anyway. But....She wanted the day to be perfect....She wanted to be perfect for Lavender.

Perfection was impossible, but....That didn't stop Parvati from wishing for it....

It didn't stop her from being upset when she provided anything less.
