Wei Wuxian finds his husband’s spontaneous moods adorable; his sweet Lan Zhan isn’t usually one to be spontaneous like Wei Wuxian himself is known to be. Everything his beloved does is gently, quietly calculated and precise in the execution of the action he is doing in that moment of time.
Including his bathing routine as Wei Wuxian stands in the doorway of their bathroom while holding a clean set of pristine robes for his husband, he grins happily as those beautiful light colored eyes find him and moves to gently set down the neat pile of clothing on a nearby stool.
“Let me do your hair, husband.” He says warmly, gently pressing a kiss to soft, wet hair as he snags the soap from his husband’s hand.
Lan Zhan blinked his quiet agreement, one of his slow cat-like blinks that Wei Wuxian has always loved even before their marriage, before he knew the truth of his feelings hidden in his heart. Lan Zhan leaned his head into Wei Wuxian’s hands and Wei Wuxian gently began dragging soapy fingers through the dark hair as his husband relaxed under his touch.
While he worked, Wei Wuxian began humming their song into the warm silence around them.
