Summary
Kimhan and Vegas never spoke words to each other, maybe because deep inside they knew that even if they were cousins, they were rivals in the end and the day would one day come when they would be asked to put a bullet between the other's eyes or maybe stick a knife into the other's throat.
But Vegas knew of the things Kimhan silently did to protect him from the wrathful fists of his father. And he was grateful for it. He didn't actually know how to thank Kimhan because doing so would admit to the flaws of his father and imply that his loyalty to the minor family was malleable, but he was grateful nonetheless.
They were 16 when he finally got around to speaking a word towards Kimhan.
