Summary
In this sequel to The Guardian, Sul'ss and Annalise have taken the Xenomorph nest after the Queen sacrificed her life to save her children. Having twins different from their typical xenomorph offspring, Annalise feels they deserve more than living in the nest. Making a decision against Sul'ss' wishes, she allows their friend Richard Tanner to take them to Earth. Tanner knows that danger lurks everywhere, for there is a faction very interested in the twins, and he intends they never be captured by anyone. Besides that, an unknown danger is in hiding, but to whom are they a threat.
