‘Died in a gruesome lab accident’ was the most popular theory, but Ned claimed to have heard ‘hushed-up cafeteria food poisoning incident’ and ‘post-blip jump off the roof’ rumors too.
MJ doesn’t buy any of them - like the school would ever publicize any incident where they’d been at fault, please. Still, something about Anonymous Memorial Guy’s face bugs her, and it doesn’t get any better the night she goes home and realizes there’s a picture of him on her wall that she can’t remember drawing.
