Summary
Dick Grayson is the adopted son of Bruce Wayne, a genius detective, and roams the dark rooftops of Gotham as Nightwing. Currently also the leader of The Origins: the original 7 members of the Young Justice team. As a Junior at Gotham Academy, there is nothing Dick can't figure out.
Except for the new girl.
Despite his amazing detective skill, Dick can find no trace of her at all. It's almost like she never existed. Or at least someone didn't want others to know she existed. And the girls no help at all either. She's a loner, a misfit. Although, it seems to be by choice. Not to mention that cold vibe she sends out everywhere.
But despite all that, there's something about her that keeps drawing Dick in like a moth to a flame. And he'll be damned if she thinks she can remain a mystery forever. He'll figure it out, or die trying.

She swipes the bottle straight from his hand, taking a swig that neither of them was quite expecting. The taste is not something she’s fond of, but it’s cold, cooling her tongue and throat.
“That’s not going to help the heat,” Zoro tells her, taking the bottle back. “It’s just going to make you warmer.”
“Well, it’s cold when you drink it. Guess I’ll just keep drinking.”
“Nuh-uh,” he chuckles. “I only brought one bottle, and I was not planning on sharing.”

"You can look," she mutters. He turns to look at her, his eyes catching the back of her head. Her shoulders look tense.
He enters the room cautiously, approaching her like she's a wounded animal. Out of some kind of consideration, he puts his sword against the wall by the door. Sitting on the bed next to her, he gently lifts her bicep. She won't look in his direction, staring instead at the sword by the door. She's a bit surprised he left it for her benefit. If it even was her benefit at this point.
His hands are calloused, not surprising to her. But his fingers hold her with care, like she's a finely crafted sword. They trace the swordfish tattoo and the red wounds on her skin. She nearly whimpers, both embarrassed and confused. The sensation of having someone touching her like that is so foreign. She can't decide if she hates it or not.
