   Summary

   Quil hadn’t even noticed Embry staring at him as he went about checking the temperature of his skin, but meeting his eyes seemed to hold him, right there in that fleeting second. He thought for a moment, that it felt like drowning. Embry covered the hand that Quil had caressed on his cheek with his own. It was a moment of stillness then, the sound of rain beating down on the roof, the wind against the glass of his bedroom window, Embry leaning in toward him.

   Or

   Embry and Quil are unknowingly in love with one another, and the universe must really enjoy ruining their lives. What would happen if Embry phased, leaving Quil completely in the dark? What transpires when what they believed was a bed time story, turns out to be a terrifying reality?
