Work Text:
Clark is not a fan of these parties. The people are a little boring and generally too rich for their own good and the food, today, is just teeny tiny pieces of fish. Terrible. If it wasn't for Bruce, Clark absolutely wouldn't be here. No thank you.
But Bruce asked and Clark can't say no to Bruce (he has tried, it is truly impossible, just look at Bruce!), so Clark is here. Here in a ridiculous suit with bad food and bad company.
Until Bruce finally walks in. All eyes are on him. He's stunning and confident and Clark wants him so much. Bruce walks up to him, ignoring adoring women and men who want his attention. Bruce only has eyes for Clark.
"I'm glad you came," he tells Clark.
Clark smiles. "I'd do just about anything for you."
"How about a kiss?" Bruce asks.
Clark can hear Bruce's heart start beating faster. So he nods and kisses Bruce. There are shocked gasps all around them but Clark doesn't care. He only has eyes for Bruce. Nothing else matters as long as Bruce is around. Clark is glad he came to the party. It's really not so bad with Bruce.
