    Bucky had always known it was a possibility, Steve finding another Match, but he didn’t think it would ever actually happen. People rarely met more than one Match in a life time and Steve had been around for several so what were the chances? But no, the world hated Bucky Barnes and was determined to see him suffer for no good reason. First of all Steve was his Match, and yeah, maybe he hadn’t told Steve that, but that was only because Stevie deserved better than his dead beat ass.

    Screw the universe hating him, why the hell did the universe hate Steve? First the poor guy gets stuck with a damaged cupid, then he gets stuck with an arrogant asshole incubus? The universe obviously hated Steve, if Bucky ever met a personification of whatever force made Matches he was punching them in the fucking face for this bullshit.
