Summary
Months after Serana's departure, the Dragonborn is left to tend to her own fate as Skyrim's sole hope against the dragon threat. Though she has built up a reputation as a dragon slayer, the price she paid to survive her ordeal with the pureblooded vampire stalks her every night. It seeps into the back of her mind, her dreams, and all that she is.
Serana once told her she will let her make her decision to stay with her once she understands the meaning of 'forever', but is a concept even comprehensible to a mortal such as her? Determined to save Skyrim, the vampire and the vampire slayer attempt to pursue their individual paths, but their fate was already decided. Once more, their paths collide into a crash course bound that is bound to change Skyrim forever.
