Mickey's life has never been easy.....
Not even difficult would be accurate to describe his life growing up in the back-of-the-yards neighborhood. With Terry for a father, Mick could never be himself and was never shown affection, growing up. As an adult, he reunited with Yevgeny, eager to repair the years he had lost with his son, he moved to New York City to help Yev, who was going to film school. He'd also became a cop and joined the NYPD. Rising up the ranks to become Detective , his life is going well, until one day, everything is ripped apart.Now, back in Chicago, Mick lives with Mandy, who has also recently moved back, purchasing a house.
He fights to sleep and when he does, is awoken by night-terrors and riddled with anxiety. Not wanting to burden Mandy, he spends his days fighting with his inner demons, as he calls them, until one night.......Series
