The spirit burns in her chest, but she’s nowhere near drunk (the memory of Patrick’s winter rager comes to mind – more specifically, Janey Hughes' soft hands holding her hair back in the upstairs bathroom), just pleasantly tingly – and, ok, a little looser than she’d otherwise be.
