Dick let out a groan as he returned to consciousness as he checked his surroundings for enemies his memory of what happened returned. He was out on patrol after just apprehend a group of criminals trying to rob a bank when a bright light knocked him into unconsciousness.
As he got up, he noticed that most of his family was there as well. All of them were waking up and after quickly scanning his environment and his family for any injuries he let out an almost silent sigh at the fact that there weren’t any injures or enemies.
“Hey guys anybody know where we are or how we got here all I remember is stopping a bank heist and then returning to patrol before getting knocked out by a bright light” Dick asked trying to find out how they all got here
“Robin and I were investigating a new case when we were hit by the same light, it was probably some type of teleportation that knocked us out” Bruce replied looking towards Damian and the rest of his family all of them still in full uniforms.
"I was just about to inform father about some evidence I had uncovered when the light blinded us” Damian explained annoyed that something had interfered.
“Spoiler and Orphan were at the cave with me training then the same happened to us” Kate said after the memories of what happened came back.
“Damn it I hate this where the hell are we” Steph angrily said back angry that someone interrupted her night off patrol even if she was on standby.
Cass nodded in agreement but for a different reason, she hated when people she cared about were threatened and right now with her family in an unknown situation, she was a bit on edge and the only thing keeping her from lashing out is the fact that there are no enemies.
“Bluebird was with me at the clocktower working on some things for the Justice League when the same thing happened” Barbara informed glad that they all still had their masks on even it was a domino mask.
“We were just getting started to so it a bit of a surprise when all of a sudden we were seeing stars and then out cold” harper added.
“I was with Luke grabbing a bite to eat, Agent A had made some food for us before I headed out” Tim said slightly angry that he wouldn’t be able to finish his coffee.
“That’s right I was about to say thanks to A for the food, so seeing as I was interrupted before I could say it thanks A” Duke said a little shocked that he was in his uniform.
“Your thanks are appreciated Signal, but it was no problem I’m just glad Red Robin managed to eat something before he starved” Alfred replied.
“I was just taking with the Outlaws about somethings and was on my way back to Gotham before that light got me” Jason told them.
“Let’s have a look around for any clues on who teleported us here, where we are and why we are here” Dick suggested knowing they all wanted to know the answers to those important questions.
As they looked around, they noted the room looked like a home cinema with a big top of the line tv and surround sound system at one end of the room. In front of the tv was a big couch that could fit all of them on it and maybe a few others as well as a recliner. Nearby was a table full of various foods as well as two doors on each side of the room that lead to who knew were. Going through the rooms they found that ones on the left side were bathrooms and showers and the doors on the other side were bedrooms.
Coming back to the main room they noticed, on the table with the food was a tv remote with a message underneath it that wasn’t there before. Steph warily approached the table but upon realizing there was no danger quickly picked up the note and red aloud
”Dear Batfamily
Your more than likely wondering what is going on, who I am, where you are, why this is happening. Well, my name is not important but if you must know you can call me Ghostly_Archon. You are in a pocket dimension of my making and as for the why and what well, I am what is called a watcher I watch the multiverse and everything in between so yes, I know who you are.
You do not have to worry though as watchers have no one to talk to who doesn’t know who you are as we only talk to other watchers so cool you jets this secret is safe with us. What’s going on is that you are being a chance to react to things form your multiverse to mine and everything in between.
As for the why it’s because I’m interested to see your reaction to things from your verse and mine also don’t worry about your universe its currently frozen in time so when you return it will be like no time past and you will be exactly where you left.

When she had finished reading Steph turned back to the group with an expression of shock, nervousness but a little bit of excitement. There expressions almost Identical even on their masked faces one doesn’t become a bat without being able to read masked expressions.
“Well at least we know what’s going on now, it looks like we have don’t have much choice so we may as well get this over with” Jason said before Kate replied, “I remember seeing some civilian clothes in the bedrooms so we may as well change into something more comfortable because something tells me we will be here for a while.”
“True that, I’m just happy we don’t have to worry about are friends and family while here” harper said
“While I’m happy that Gotham is not in danger it doesn’t mean this can’t be a trap especially as these watchers know are identities, are number one priority is to protect the people of Gotham” Bruce said stressing the fact that they needed to remain vigilant.
“It’ll be all right Bruce will figure it out later right know just relax just a little and let’s try and enjoy this opportunity” Dick said trying to get Bruce to enjoy what was going to happen.
“We have no way of knowing if this watcher is actually telling the truth about time being frozen in Gotham” Tim countered.
“Father and Drake are correct we should be looking for a way out of here. The Gotham police can barely handle all the common criminals let alone the supervillains” Damian agreed.
“We already searched the rooms for ways out and didn’t find any plus this is apparently a pocket dimension, so the only way out is to be let out” Cass softly replied.
“I got to agree with them Bruce just relax we could all use a tiny brake from Gotham and all the crime going on” Barbara said everyone agreeing with that statement even Bruce as he was getting tired of the fact that every day for the past month, random villains will start causing problems ether in the day or night meaning no one was safe sometimes even multiple at a time.
After getting changed they all took seats on the big couch in front of the tv with Alfred in a recliner having the remote.
“Everyone ready” Alfred asked making sure everyone was comfortable and had some food with them.
“Yes/Yep/Ready/Let’s go!” were the responses he got back as everybody was eager to see what was going to be shown to them.
