Summary
It has been 14 months since Stiles went missing. While Scott continued to believe that his best friend was still alive the rest of the pack had started to lose hope and began to think that their dear friend was dead. While they continued to look for their friend, Thomas and the gladers defeated WICKED but with the losses of many friends, especially one boy with a limp and dirty blond that Thomas adored.
They were rescued by the FBI while escaping the city that was left in flames and they would be sent to their families. Thomas returns to Beacon Hills to his 'friends' and family, but will he truly be able to be his old self as he once was? Is WICKED still alive and after his family and himself? So many challenges, uncertainties, and unresolved pasts lie ahead for this group of misfits.

Jason ruffles the hair by his left ear and then snaps his fingers. The sound is clear again in a way it hasn't been in years.
(That should have been his first clue. He lost a good portion of his hearing during that final confrontation with Bruce— between the gunshots, explosion, and the fact that his helmet was off, Jason had never been able to fully repair the damage done to his ears.)
