Summary
Blake “Jaws” Decker and Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw have both been stationed in North Island the past few years. However, their deployment cycles haven't lined up much, giving them few opportunities to see one another since they were both TOPGUN students and introduced some “benefits” to their four-year friendship. Now that they're both called back for a high-takes special detachment mission, will they be able to keep things casual?
TLDR: 20+ chapters of fluff, angst, and some painfully-detailed smut.
Note:
This is basically a fic about Rooster and Phoenix, supplementing the events of TOPGUN: Maverick. I’ve swapped Phoenix with an OFC I could re-name for the sake of her backstory. Other than her name and expanding on her interactions with Rooster, I think I’ve held true to her character, though.
