Crash the System

Summary:

Onoe was tired of his job — no more specifically tired of his target. His target who was treating his wounds.

Notes:

might turn this into a small au...maybe I'll post little stories of this silly au every once in awhile.

Work Text:

 “How are you this stupid?”

Onoe spasmed in pain, writhing on the ground. He tried to pull his shoulder away from Kaburagi’s grip, but the man kept him down pressing harder on the gunshot wound.

“Just finish me off then.” He whined, his shoulder twitching and teeth clenched with pain. “What’s with you? You know I’m trying to kill you.”

“Oh just shut up!” Kaburagi let go of the wound. His blood covered hand holding the bullet that had lodged itself in Onoe’s skin. “Want it as a trophy?” He held it in front of Onoe’s tear glazed eyes.

 “F-Fuck you!”

Kaburagi dropped it with a laugh before digging in the first aid case next to him. He pulled out a long white length of gauze. He reached under Onoe’s injured shoulder, slowly easing the injured man up.

“You know, I really really hate you.” Onoe mumbled against Kaburagi’s shoulder. He held his cries of pain, though a slight whine tinted each word.

“Yeah yeah. I really really REALLY hate you too.” He started wrapping Onoe’s shoulder, his touch softer. “You could have dodged.”

“And you could have just killed me.” Onoe cried, his free hand squeezing Kaburagi’s shirt, pulling and twisting it as Kaburagi tightened the gauze around his injured shoulder.

“I don’t kill unless I’m getting paid for it.” Kaburagi tied the loose gauze into a knot, before giving Onoe’s shoulder one last teasing squeeze.

“Fuckmmph.” Onoe whimpered against Kaburagi’s shoulder, body twitching with the new incoming wave of pain.

“Whoops.” Kaburagi slowly eased Onoe back down onto the ground. “My shirt’s wet!” He pulled away with a groan, rubbing at the wet patch at his shoulder. “Are you crying?”

 “It-It hurts!”

“Why are you even doing this job? You can’t even handle getting shot.”

“Oh! Oh! So can you? Can you handle getting shot?” Onoe complained, glaring up at Kaburagi.

“Yes.” Kaburagi crossed his arms, a teasing smile painting his face. His eyes drooped down to look at Onoe.

“Really?” Onoe’s glare sharpened. If Kaburagi saw him as anything other than a grumpy cat then maybe he would have been a bit threatened.

Onoe reached his uninjured arm towards his belt only to grasp at nothing. The familiar weight of his gun missing.

“Looking for this?” Kaburagi held up Onoe’s handgun, waving it in front of Onoe who was trapped on the ground.

He clenched his jaw, “I fucking hate you.”
