Log Number 1

Summary:

In the so-called villain class 1-A, someone had to keep an eye on the son of All for One. Their log's are wide ranging and long, and detail exactly how Izuku Midoriya will be a hero, yet who is behind the screen.

Work Text:

Log number 1

Izuku Midoriya on first glance is a shy, nervous boy. He is visibly unsure why he is here and seems very uncomfortable to be there.

Katsuki Bakugou knows him from before and that might be a good way to gaining information from his past. He seems conflicted about their relationship and seems to believe that “Deku” as he calls him was dead.

Kaminari and Aoyama also seem to know him, or at least have some interest in him. It is obvious he does not know them.

Best course of action is to get as close as possible. His past as ‘quirkless’ will make him clingy to people who are nice and sympathetic to him. I will aim to be in his close circle of friends, if not counted as his best friend. Bakugou may make this difficult.

Log number 3

Izuku Midoriya has shown no sign of being affiliated with the villains, preliminary interaction with him has shown him to either be a wonderful liar and actor, or a genuine very kind and driven boy. He had issues with anxiety, muttering, and self-confidence. Would not recommend for hidden soldier program, nor blasted shield program, but due to his analytical skills, I would recommend him for the back trench supporter program. He froze during both the intruder alarm and the USJ incident, not hero material, not front liner.

It was not difficult to integrate myself into his friendship group, he is very friendly and wants to make as many connections as possible. It may be useful to use his mother as a form to push him to answers. Or alternately use him to get answers from her. This should be used in extremis, not recommended and would alienate him. If this would happen, he would always need the push to behave.

Bakugou Katsuki has one goal, and it is something to do with Izuku Midoriya. It seems that as much Bakugou wants to keep Midoriya to himself he seems incapable of blocking meaningful connections, a touch of guilt seems to threat through their relationship. Their past relationship clearly is still weighing on his mind, and I would suggest the …

Log number 15

Izuku Midoriya continues to show massive amounts of empathy, and kindness. It is getting more and more likely that he is simply that kind and is not affiliated with any villains. Talking with him I assume his father may be a villain, and that is why he was placed into 1A. His analytical skills are increasingly impressive, even when he cannot write them down. I perhaps suggest getting him into the BTS program before Principal Nedzu picks him to be his student. Which is getting more and more pressing, as he is exhibiting no villainous traits. Aizawa Shouta is trusting him more and more with student analysis.

Bakugou Katsuki and Todoroki Shouto are following him around like lost puppies. I might recommend him for a role high up in commission as his charisma is impressive as well as his control over the two most unhinged and angry boys in the class. This has come very quickly after the sports festival and the internships, something happened with Midoriya and Todoroki, as well as Iida Tenya. Possibly the hero killer.

It seems Izuku Midoriya has found out their reasons for why they were there, Bakugou Katsuki would follow him to the end of the earth, and I think Todoroki Shouto is not too far off.

Log number 47

Izuku Midoriya has been crying for several hours. The camp, Bakugou Katsuki’s kidnapping, the fight that destroyed his arms and forced him to extremes in protecting the child.

Unless his is the worlds best actor, who can cry on command to an empty room for hours, he had no knowledge of the attack. He had no connection to the villains, and we are looking into the wrong person.

The two people who I suspect highly being traitors, as I have previously detailed in my log, should be what my mission should be expanded to.

Bakugou Katsuki may be under suspicion when he comes back, a few people have mentioned his behavior as villainous. The few people who know why he was at UA have also looked conflicted when discussing it. Midoriya was very resolute in denying he was a villain, or would ever become one. I tend to agree, the sports festival shows how far he would be willing to go to be number one, or at least a hero in some respect. Todoroki Shouto, very importantly was silent, and has been since the camp.

The only words I have heard him say are “Dabi” and a name, “Touya”. He seems extremely conflicted and angry. Anyone who asks who that is gets a glare. Even Midoriya has had trouble talking to him, if it was about that or something else is uncertain. He is unbalanced. His father has not come to the hospital yet, and that is something else that seems to be angering him.

Log number 48

Izuku Midoriya recognised the voice of the villain at Kamino ward. I assume my guess is right. He is not a villain, he will never be a villain, and it is getting more and more unlikely that he would ever accept a role at Commission, program or not. Nedzu had started to get his claws into him, Aizawa Shouta is taking him out of the dorms and is training him in secret. He is determined to be a hero, and I would hesitate to stop him.

If there was a last time to offer him a Commission programme now would have to be the time. I could not accurately suggest any program, he would not want any that he would believe would hinder him from becoming a hero. Any that would prevent him from saving as many people he could. He confided in me that he fears that the worst thing that could happen to him would be to be resigned to just watching the world burn around him. There is no chance that he has ever been associated with villainy. If there was no doubt that from the commission end, I would like to request a change in mission. A change in mission would be the only way I could help. Izuku Midoriya will be a hero, or he will die trying.

Bakugou and Todoroki are attached to him at the hip. It has been worse since Kamino, and the training camp. They are inseparable, with Bakugou being able to come close to him now, and with no stopping his analysis, they seem – the three of them, happier then ever.

Log 50

Izuku Midoriya is not a villain, and will never be.

This will be the last log on him.

Overhaul has proven this, there is nothing he will not do to protect people he wants to protect.

The agent stood from the computer, powering it down completely before stepping away from it. The mission just had not been worth it, and she didn't want Izuku to think that even now she thought he was a villain. Not that he would ever know.

Ochako would make sure he kept on seeing her as a friend.
