Summary
Cultivation world is flooded by excitement. Everyone is waiting for a big event - mating hunt, a festival where in safe and cotrolled circumstances, cultivators could get a chance on finding their fated mates. By saying that everyone is waiting - I mean everyone besides Jiang Cheng and Xichen. The former doesn't have time for all that fated bullshit and the latter doesn't believe in fated mates. So, fate being a bitch it is, decides to make fun of them and show them its supremacy. No one can avoid fate here.
