Log : my crew and I have followed a lead to Arabia. It'll be a few more days until we reach the city of Agrabah, after a week or so there we'll be setting off into the desert. I will admit the blistering heat was expected, but the negative temperatures at night were definitely a surprise. This place is definitely full of danger but also of wonder... end
Log : Agrabah is huge! Way bigger than I had expected. Hearing from miles about Arabia: Agrabah being the capital and only city in this desert country, I had assumed it would be smaller, maybe close in size as sunset heights. But I was mistaken! I forgot to take in a few factors, such as; the fact that it's a coastal city; and that it's an old country in its own right, but taking in the first kingdom of Kemet and its ruins, It has a long history. In other words, I assumed that since it was a 3rd world country that it had to be small and boy was I wrong! I feels like we're going to get lost more than once in this city... end
Log : i will state here that i have a hard time believing in magic, and I am also an atheist. Which might get you asking, then why did I become a historian of religion in specific. Well why do you read fairytales? Because they are a part of your or others culture, and you can learn alot about someone in what they pray to or in this analogy, what their mythos is. Sorry, random tangent. But my point in bringing that up is that Agrabah has a lot of myths and legends that we have to take into consideration when we head to the ancient city. Because despite ancient exaggeration, all myths reign in truth.
Which brings me into this tale: the goddess of dreams and the serpent kings. I've heard this tale in my own country but it's told a little differently, actually, a lot different. But i'm going to tell you this land's version.
It goes something like this. There once were three kingdoms in the world, Kemet, Aztec, and daget. The kingdoms of sand, jungle, and sea. The three king of said kingdoms were brothers, it's unclear what species they were. One day an unseen enemy came and began destroying the three kingdoms. So the brothers came together and went out to ask the gods to save them. They traveled across the lands until they found a hidden city. The city used magic to hide itself. The city was ruled by the goddess of dreams, the kings begged the goddess to save them. The goddess initially refused, but after some time she decided to save them, but not for free. She said "I cannot leave my castle realm, but I can give you the power to save yourselves. But! Your first born children will be of my blood." Two of the brothers refused but the eldest, ruler of Kemet.
The eldest said that he'd take the responsibility of all three kingdoms and bear all punishment willingly.
The goddess was very impressed by the king but still split the power to save them amongst the three, but cursed the other two, she turned the three into great serpents and sent them off two there lands. But only gave the eldest the ability to turn back into a mobian.
But in conclusion they saved their kingdoms and the three kings where never seen again after that. But the queen of Agrabah did get pregnant right after. But I'm going out to learn the child's story later on in our next campsite.
But the whole point of that story was to take the warning of serpents. Serpentine, apparently, are very well known here though this being the first time we've heard of them. They're giant snakes who live in some underground cave systems in the desert. So we're taking an extra week to find out more information about the Serpentine and how to deal with them, an unexpected but thankful setback. Wouldn't want to get eaten by giant snakes! end
Log : well we're finally heading off to the pyramids! I'm so excited, my previous expeditions in other lands have been pretty fruitless, but I have a good feeling with my new crew! There seasoned adventures, and quite well known for finding quite a few historical artifacts! Including the emeralds of chaos! Those were stolen by a rogue scientist who believed in the Legends of the gems holding immense power. But it wasn't true, they're just regular stones! Nevertheless they still have great historical purpose.
Let me list them off since it seems I haven't introduced them in my logs yet, odd.
Well our team leader is: Ogilvie Parlouzer aka Sonic, it took me ages to find out his real name! Anyway, he's fun, quite outgoing, but has a very small sense of self preservation. From what Miles has told me he'd rather sacrifice himself than his teammate.
Speaking of our main scientist is : miles prower, nicknamed tails, due to his dual tails. He's a bit Shyer than his adoptive brother but has the same sense of righteousness. He was the youngest before I came along at only 23!
Next would be our archaeologist : buko ang kamao, which translates roughly to Knuckles the first, so we all call him knuckles. He's pretty hot-headed and protective of the relics, if the temples where these artifacts were staying were not falling apart, Knuckles would probably vote on leaving them be. He's also an ancestor of daget royalty! Though that kingdom fell a long time ago, it's still cool to think!
We also have who at this point is a supply manager: Amy rose, really she's our public representative and a veterinarian. She's very sweet and kindhearted, but I've seen what she can do against Raiders and let's just say, don't mess with her. EVER.
We also have our weapons guy : shadow. Who i STILL don't know his real name! He's stubborn, uncooperative, and sees everyone else as inferior. Which is probably why he's Ex. G.U.N. but I can tell he's just a big softy on the inside (he loves ballet)
And lastly but certainly not least our resident "retriever of valuables": Rouge chauve souris aka a theft. She's like a crow, if it's shiny it's in her hands within a minute. Besides that though she's pretty cool, has lots a fun stories and definitely has a... feminine appeal... Knuckles definitely has a huge crush on her, but is too scared to say anything because he doesn't know how exactly shadow and rouge knows one another. honestly no one in the team really knows we just know they have history.
But those are my adventuring team! I think I click with them quite well. I just hope our next expedition leads to some success, I don't want to have to give up on my dream of Exploration. Not just yet. end
Log : HOLY SHIT! Big, big, big Snakes! Oh My Iblis. How are those things alive! That shouldn't be possible! They just POPPED out of the sand! Literally NO warning! That thing could Eat me alive! I know I'm like 4ft 2in. But holy chaos! They were big. And scary! I wish I packed more anxiety medicine. Ohhhhh dear chaos this is going to be a long journey, no wonder everyone gave so many warnings! end
Log : this thing is ridiculous, no wonder nobody lives out here! How did this ancient city survive so long? There's giant snakes, huge temperature jumps, cactuses with projectile thorns, and deep quicksand that lead into underground caves. It's amazing! Terrifying... but amazing! end
Log : wow... where here, the ruins of the ancient city surrounding us, as the grand pyramids towers over us in the distance. I'm going to continue these logs later on. I have to start working, but when I have a chance I'll continue these emails. Oh and don't worry I'll send lots of pictures Dexter! By bro! end .
Dexter hey little brother! I'm super glad you got there safely! I'm sure this'll turn out different. Just stay safe, make sure you take your inhaler, and be optimistic! Also you better send me TONS of fucking pictures! I want to be able to make a video with all the pictures you take! Got it? Good! See you soon gads! end

the small red wolf stretched out his arms while yawning. Rubbing his eyes he adjusts his glasses to properly see, then closes his laptop and sets it inside his travel bag. He was inside a small tent with just a sleeping bag and two backpacks, a small travel one filled with survival materials and a regular travel bag with most of his personal stuff; like toothbrush, most of his clothes, electronics, etc, etc. The only light in the tent after he turned off his tablet was the dim moonlight. The canine shimmied himself into his sleeping bag longing for the next day.
finally, these past few years may have been worth it after all! Chaos, I've been preparing for so long it's not even funny! I can't wait! Calm down gads! Check list: bag prepared, check. Wispon and zip in working order, ehhh wispon having some difficulty with reloading but it should be fine I'll probably have to use it like? Once! Soo check. Meds, check! Definitely don't want to run out of those. And tomorrow's plans? Yep got those! Go meet up with the other explorers and gather information, then find the entrance! After that the next day we'll go exploring!.....I hope it's that easy
