Ghost was a machine the government uses to do their dirty work when they can't risk the situation on their hands. He never showed physical sings of ever being anything or feeling anything other than being a machine Infront of anyone. Once he started, he couldn’t stop. The killing, the alcohol, the medication, the blood, the thoughts. It was like he was put completely in a trance, and no one was ever there to break him out of it.
But Simon? Well, Simon was a broken man who didn't want to be fixed but needed help. What happens when another broken man walks into your life who wants to be fixed? What happens when he ends up wanting to help fix you? Or maybe just help, because you can't force someone to fix themselves when they weren't looking for help in the first place.
What happens when you're in a situation that makes you so vulnerable, a feeling you were taught to hate your entire life. When the only thing someone is trying to do is help you, but that’s the last thing you want. What happens if it’s the only person you can somewhat trust, when they make you feel like this? When it’s them or yourself? When their life is in your hands?
