Chapter Text
I think it’s gonna take me a hot minute before I get used to this whole journaling thing. The doctor or whoever at the Hidden City hospital said that it would be good for my recovery, but I don’t know if I’m buying it. Something about “not being able to speak” and “processing my experiences.”
Anyway, I got told to start writing so communication is easier and it’s supposed to give me an outlet while I’m stuck in this stupid bed in the med bay. Honestly, I don’t even know what to write, but I guess I’ll start with what happened.
So, as basically everyone in New York knows, the Krang invaded Earth and almost destroyed everything, yada yada yada. That was (as far as I can tell) a week ago. Weird thing is, my family tells me I was only in the prison dimension for maybe a couple minutes, and I’ve only been asleep for about 3 days since I got saved.
My best guess? Time worked differently, I guess. I’m not the science guy, and Donnie could probably explain it better. If it is true, though, I can imagine how much time the Krang had to get so angry at everything.
Why I’m stuck in a bed, unable to speak? Well, that one dude I pushed into the portal with me was still pretty angry—specifically at me. He took it out on me for the most part. And lack of food and water for a few days did a number, too.
Next time someone wakes up, I can ask for all the injuries, but right now, I’m kind of getting tired myself. I’ll probably edit this later when I’m not so… pain meds, it’s the pain meds. This is definitely gonna need some fixing.
