"Thanks for this, again, I still can't believe he actually thought I'd fall for that," Lucy said as she helped Emmet walk down the stairs, his body being all woozy after having Rex, his alternate future self, removed from his body.
"Daw ain't nothin' too it," Peter, one of the Ghost Busters, said with a smile, "that just proves you're a good person."
"And an even better girlfriend!" Raymond, another Ghost Buster, called from another room, earning a groan from Peter.
"Ignore him," Peter said.
"Ough, so uh, wha'dou do with Rex anyways?" Emmet asked, his words slurring ever so slightly.
"Well Emmet," Lucy turned to her beloved, "for trying to steal you from me and thinking that I wouldn't notice immediately, we decided on a proper punishment for him."
"Y-You didn't, y'know-" Emmet dragged a finger across his throat, earning a laugh from Lucy.
"No no no, nothing like that. But, I think a part of me thinks he'd wish for that, even though he's already a ghost."
*Meanwhile*
Unikitty sat in front of multiple canisters, each containing some kind of spectral being that the Ghost Busters have captured, and spoke, "Alright ya'll spectral menaces, seems like you've been some naughty little ghosts haven't ya? Well luckily for you, you're all stuck here, which means that I get to read you all," Unikitty pulled out a book that was larger than an average man, "How to be a Good Little Ghost! *Ahem* Chapter 1-"
"OH MAN UPSTAIRS NO GET ME OUT OF HERE!" Rex cried out, desperately banging on the canister knowing full well that it wouldn't do anything. So he was forced to listen to Unikitty's lessons for DAYS. UPON, DAYS. "All I wanted was to just hijack Emmet's body and steal his life before crushing it into oblivion!"
Man, what would've happened if Lucy didn't notice the OBVIOUS changes to Emmet's personality, posture, and attitude.
