He really wanted no one to know but knew the risks were too great if he had no one to help him if he ever went into bloodlust. One would think the doctor was a trustworthy person but apparently that only applied to humans.

Avid was alone, normally he would drag Drift or someone else to walk around with him, but that wasn’t the case here. And well.. Scott was getting hungry. The fact that Avid was a nuisance didn’t really matter, it was a prime opportunity, and Scott didn’t know when the next time would come to get a free meal.
He landed, shifting back into his normal form, “Hello.” He grinned,
Avid jumped, whirling his head around with panicked purple eyes, “W- how are you—”
Scott prowled a little closer, “I’m sure you can figure it out.” His grin widened, flashing his fangs.

In the pit, his boots slipped over shadowed cobblestone. Strange that someone would replace the floor. If they were filling it in, they couldn’t have done more than a single layer because the treacherous hole was just as deep as Martyn remembered.
Martyn poured water over the rocks and had just called up for the Doc to lower a second stream for Martyn to swim up, when a faint dripping noise caught his attention. Water was seeping through the cobblestone into a hollow space. He looked down. Was there something under there? Cocking his head, he pulled out his pickaxe.

Or: Everyone is a mystical or supernatural creature, except Avid. This is the town just having very slice of life moments. With maybe some angsty moments coming up.
