Roy first heard the sniffling halfway through the movie, which was admittedly quite the tear-jerker. He turned to look at the teen sitting beside him, whose head was conveniently turned so that his face could not be seen.
“Are you… crying?”
“No!” Ed angrily wiped at his eyes. “I’ve just got… allergies… and stuff.”
“Allergies.” Roy was unconvinced. “I’ve never seen you so much as sneeze since we’ve met but all of a sudden you have allergies?”
“Yeah? So what?” The teen held out his hand and sniffled some more. “Now give me a tissue and shut the fuck up.”
