Tracing Lines

Summary:

Your hands tended to wander when you were absent-minded, how does it fare when laying and cuddling with Kirishima?

Notes:

I don't know what I was doing when I wrote this and I'm like horrible at writing.
Anyway this has like no plot

Work Text:

Wrapped up underneath his arm, you wondered what you did to deserve him.

The soft rosy light that shone upon his face perfected the moment, you dedicated it to memory, knowing it would only last for so long.

But really, what had you done to deserve this man?

His sunny red hair was tied back in favor of whatever he occupied himself with doing on his phone. Frankly you couldn’t be bothered. All you knew was that the sheets were too warm to leave, and he was too comfortable to move away from. The colors from the setting sun drifted in through the thin school-provided curtains.

His essence outshone your very existence, His tranquil posture leaning on the headboard swallowed your lazy body curled around him. Your head laid on his chest, which was way more favorable than any pillow on the planet. Pillows could give you more comfort, but none could give you the adoration pouring from the man who wasn’t a millimeter away. Your eyes and thoughts slowly transitioned to the rest of his body, trained abs and muscles made up the rest of him. He made it a point to often lift and transport you anywhere you wanted.

…Now who were you? Hardly any muscle compared to him, not radiant at all. Your fighting skills were second to all, Denki could even surpass you in some regions

But, did that matter to him? He sure didn’t seem like he cared. Maybe he did, but were you aware? No, did you want to be aware? No, you wanted to keep thinking that these moments were meant for you and hadn’t been shared with anyone else. But he did choose you, he was the first to ask you out and the first to be accepted by you. He was brilliant, almost as bright as the beam of light helping to warm your blankets. What had you done to deserve him?

Torn away in your thoughts, your mind became unaware of how your hands had slipped up the opening in his shirt and had started to trace patterns in his stomach. They had traced roads up his torso, creating swirls and circles before cleaning the slate and doing it all over again.

You woke up from your daze and realized what you were doing. You split your hand from his frame. Embarrassment flooding your features from letting your absent thoughts take over your actions.

“Why’d you stop?” He softly questioned. You decided to avoid his question and buried your head further into him as your thoughts drifted further away.

“Uhm…”

“Could you keep going? I didn’t mind it, it actually felt kinda good.”

“Well.. I didn’t mean to in the first place…”

“Please?” Lifting your head from where you rested, you looked at him. You found that he was looking at attention to your eyes. Butterflies wiggled in your body as you tried to shove the feeling down.

Mumbling something that sounded like an “Okay”, you let your head fall back onto his chest. Eijirou had placed his phone down on your nightstand, and curled himself around your form. One of his hands naturally found a purchase along the small of your back, the other finding itself resting on the bed under your head. Your head had itself laid on his chest again, both your hands near the bottom of his shirt.

Sliding his shirt upwards, you willed your hand to begin moving.

And move they did, they traced random patterns along his spine, outlining his muscles, chasing scars and bones, outlining the symbols of his life and his experiences. Your wandering limbs had run across his spine a final time before stilling along his waist.

Deep breaths and soft snores were noted in the silence of your room. He had fallen asleep in the tranquil environment he willed himself to never let go of. The decision of never purposefully letting go of eachother was reciprocated by you as well, as you fought to somehow get closer to him and steal his warmth and pull the blankets closer to keep the sultriness in between the two of you.

Deciding it was an exceptional place to get some shuteye, you relaxed your body as the final rays of the sun hid behind the large building you were doomed to in the morning. But, did you have to worry about that now? No, no you didn’t.
