Even though Trafalgar Law is a busy man, he always spends some time drinking a nice cup of coffee made by the young barista named Luffy.
Law knows he is not a coffee critic or anything, but he is sure Luffy's coffee is very unique and special.
He gently stirred the black coffee he had just ordered, then slowly lifted the white porcelain cup close to his mouth and took a nice sip. The bitterness was harsh at the beginning, then followed by an aftertaste that is mellow and sweet. It's a nice coffee comes on as a feeling of comfort and he craves it for more.
Because there's Luffy's smile.
There's warmth, there's smiles, there's happiness. All of his best things were poured into this small cup of coffee and Law loved it. His heart almost popped out whenever Luffy came, put the coffee down on the table and tilted his head with a lovely smile he would never forget.
When dozens of waiters only place the coffee on the table, Luffy always comes to him and says " Hope you enjoy the coffee!" with his sweet voice. Would it be too selfish if Law wanted him all by himself. Law doesn't know but he knows that he has fallen deep into a pit called by the name of love.

The coffee shop is called 'Sunny', it's a place owned by Bellmere, Nami's mom. Luffy was so grateful to be offered to work here by his best friend. He remembers, the first time he worked at 'Sunny', he was scolded a lot for his clumsiness and as much as his gluttony when he couldn't resist but secretly ate some pastries. Please don't blame him, he was just hungry after all. One day, Luffy was called by Bellmere to make an espresso shot for a customer, when their Barista suddenly fell ill. At that time, he didn't have any knowledge about coffee but he still did it by following the instructions, and that's when they found out Luffy had a talent for making coffee.
He spent two weeks studying and learning about them. Nami and the crew were impressed when they saw Luffy was actually interested in something other than food. The fragrance, the aroma of the coffee has swept him deep into a bittersweet world. The scent was very charming indeed.
Sour, sweet and bitter, that's all we needed to make a perfect cup of coffee. However, Luffy wants to put one more element into this tiny cup, it's love.
Every taste of love is always sweet, but as it's tasted, it's bitter, acidic, burned slowly into the throat.
Luffy loves to work here and makes coffee. Although the coffee shop is rather small, it gives out a cosy atmosphere. People tend to come back here often, once they discover this place. But what kept him here to work for a long time is the customer who often sat next to the shop's glass door. A very handsome man, like he jumped straight out from the fashion magazines, which Luffy often saw from Nami's collection. He thought he would faint just by looking at those gorgeous golden eyes.
The man always stops by here every morning, and Luffy always tries his best to put all his heart and mind into his wonderful first cup of the day.
" Hope you enjoy the coffee!"

" Luffy~ looks who's here again?" Nami calls him with a very teasing voice.
"Oh please, Nami!"
Oh c'mon she enjoys teasing him too much! Why's she like this?
" Oh god Luffy! I have already noticed you two have been looking at each other like for a while, god dammit!", she starts to shake him dramatically.
"Seriously, just go there and talk to him!"
"What? No!"Luffy immediately denies with a light blush on his face.
Like hell he would do that. He doesn't even know if the handsome customer would be into men. What if he feels disgusted when Luffy comes up there and confesses, what if he only likes his coffee and not him. Ahhh! Luffy doesn't want to know!
While Luffy was busy struggling with his inner thoughts, he didn't notice Law had walked over to the counter.
" Um..Excuse me?"
"Huh… y..yes?", Oh Oda! Why did he start getting all nervous and startled. He thinks he can't be able to breathe properly anymore. Stop it Luffy! You need to calm down.
"How can I help you?"
" I enjoy your coffee a lot and …" Law gave a small pause, then he continued "I would love to know about you more, is that ok? " and now it's Law turn to get nervous, "oh god what am I saying…" he mumbled to himself.
Luffy feels the heat creep up his face, just a single sentence has make his heart into frenzy.
" Of course, Yes!", he answers way too fast, "Oh..I mean I would like to."
Law gives out a low chuckle, " then I might have to introduce myself, I'm Trafalgar Law."
" I'm Monkey D. Luffy." he responded with a bright smile.

" Luffy do you know tomorrow is Valentine day?"
Nami question him, while they're shopping around the mall.
"Yep!"
"What are you two going to do that day?" Robin asked.
"Hmm, I don't know. I don't think he gonna be free on Valentine's day, since he's a doctor and there's still a lot of patients and work to complete. But I would like to do something for him." Luffy pauses a little, "That's why I brought you guys with me."
"Geez Luffy, when did you become so sappy?" Nami cooed.
Robin chuckles lightly.
"You think so?" He turned his gaze to look at Nami. " Torao is more sappy than I am, even though he doesn't admit it. Shi shi shi" the memory causes a light blush on his cheeks, he absolutely adores it when his boyfriend does that. Especially when Law always calls him by endearments.
"Oh! Then I have a brilliant idea for you!"
" Hm?"
" Why don't we make a handmade chocolate cake?" Nami asks.
Luffy likes the idea, Law would love it. Then it's decided, he will bake him the best cake ever. But the problem is, he doesn't know how to cook.
" Oh don't worry Luffy, we could ask Sanji for help. '' Nami suggested "But first thing first let's buy some ingredients! "
Then the three bought everything they needed and went to Sanji house.

That night, Luffy waits for Law for hours and hours until he finally falls into a light sleep. He dreams about a strong tattoo arm wrapped around him and giving him a sweet kiss on the temple. He felt a familiar warmth and slowly opened his eyes. " Torao? "
" Sorry, did I interrupt your sleep?"
" No, I'm waiting for you!" Luffy smiles sheepishly.
" Oh darling, you don't have to do that. I'm sorry I got home really late."
"But I want to," Luffy shook his head softly. " It's our first time spending Valentine's day together. It's worth the wait. "
" I promise I will do better next time." Law looked at him sincerely. Then he switches his gaze to the box lying on the table and points at it. " What's that babe?"
" That's for you!"
" Chocolate?"
" No, it's better than chocolate! It's a chocolate cake made by me, although Sanji and the others help me a lot with the batter." he giggles.
" Thanks Luffy ya."
" Shi shi shi, Hope you enjoy the cake!"
Oh how he missed this, the beginning of their new relationship. Right before Luffy could say anything, he cards his fingers through Luffy hairs and pulls him closer for a deep and tender kiss.
Sour
Sweet
Bitter
And Love.
