    Ignis turns around with his glass of champagne in hand and is surprised—and yet somehow not—to see Gladio standing there, one hand extended and the other folded behind his back, the very image of gallantry.

    “Can I have this dance?” Gladio asks.

    There are a dozen reasons to decline. Ignis knows this. But all the same, he hands his glass to his date without even looking at him and takes Gladio’s hand.
