So! Tumblr got polls. I've seen people using them for poetry and such, and decided to try my hand at making something weird :D
The premise:
Essek is thinking very very hard to find answers to tricky questions, and he can use all the brainpower he can get. Here, voters decided the directions his train of thought takes as he chips away at it!
Each chapter ends with a line reading 'independent calculations: ###', and the line itself links to the corresponding chapter's poll on my tumblr (@spottedenchants). You can highlight the text or disable the work skin to see the final percentages.
