Chapter Text
Yuu stayed up late finishing his latest chapters of "The balance between us". A manga he'd been working on for a while. It's his job and pays well. He has lots of fans willing to pay for each read.
It's being made into an anime soon. He was originally an author who wrote his first trilogy at age eleven. It became popular enough to become a tv series with real actors and stuff.
In Thorn Valley children truly begin working at age fourteen with simple jobs. Hard jobs were for legalized adults. Well, in human age standards it's different for most fae because they age slower.
No knows this though except for Lilia, Silver, Sebek, and his father. His pen name is Alastor Crow taken from his real name; Yuu Aleister Crowley.
He likes the privacy of no one knowing his real identity.
A text from his editor caught his attention.
[I hate you. You made me cry! I know you said this series is a tragedy but damn the betrayal! How could the princess be such a cunt!]
Yuu snickered. Yup the princess in this story is a cunt.
-
Riddle's overblot had been surprising but Yuu mostly stood in a background and watched how Ace, Deuce, and Grim handled the dorm leader's tantrums earlier. Originally, he would've minded his own business and ignore the Heartslabyul students but befriending two of them made it harder to do.
Dire dad was surprised at how calm Yuu was in the situation. The horned teen was quick at taking action and knocking Riddle out while the other students distracted the young man.
"Yuu, I'm so proud of how calm you were during such a situation. I raised you well."
-
Riddle seemed grateful that Yuu put a stop to him. He even admitted to admiring Yuu's mature attitude.
"I should follow your example and think more maturely like you, Yuu," Riddle said. "Even though, I was following the queen's rules I acted more like a tyrant than anything else."
Yuu smiled. "I don't completely blame everything on you. There were some things I'm not able to fault you for."
Riddle chuckled. "I like that honest side about you. Everyone else is saying is wasn't my fault but you acknowledge that some things are my doing."
"I do," Yuu responded. "I recommend you go see a therapist and maybe read some self help books it might help you deal with some things."
"Oh, I'm thinking about therapy but where do I begin?," Riddle asked. "I could ask my mother but I'm afraid she might make me see a therapist that favors her attitude."
Yuu spoke," I know a guy."
-
"Yuu-chan, I haven't heard from you in a while," Timmy Beller said. He was a student when Yuu was a baby in Diasomania and became his childhood therapist for Yuu depression during elementary and middle school.
Yes, Yuu suffered from symptoms of depression when he began remembering things that he didn't want to.
"I have a friend who might need your help," Yuu said. "He's overblotted."
Timmy frowned. "I've never dealt with an overblotting before but I'll do my best."

Dire sighed at the paperwork. Timmy Beller had decided to become the schools therapist after Yuu recommended him to Riddle.
As grateful as he is to the other fae for helping his son after the child became depressed, over something he still refuses to tell Dire, it's good that the horned teen is happier now.
Riddle Rosehearts seemed to be getting a better attitude as well.
Dire just hopes there are no more overblots.
