Summary
Indie singer-songwriter Jaskier is a super-fan of the rising rock band Kaer Morhen and joins them on tour as an unpaid roadie, simply to learn from the best and soak up the music he's so in love with.
He's also in love with Geralt, the brooding bass player who quietly writes the genius songs at the root of the band's success. But Geralt is fresh from a messy break-up with lead singer Yennefer and although Jaskier catches his eye, he's too afraid to give his heart again quite yet.
Being Geralt, his attempts to be Jaskier's friend without falling in love don't lead to the most well-thought-out, sensitive and eloquent words. In fact, Geralt is a foot-in-mouth disaster, but couldn't be more in love with Jaskier, or more frustrated.
By the time Yennefer walks out on the band, leaving a vacancy for a new lead singer, will the sound of Jaskier's golden voice awaken Geralt to his senses, and by then -- is it too late for him to win the boy's heart?
