Beach

Summary:

Beach: A pebbly or sandy shore, especially by the sea between high- and low-water marks.

Work Text:

"You'll be fine, Applecake, I'm sure you'd bob!" A gentle voice soothed as a tiny tot whimpered in her red floaties. Noticing her daughter's distress, Eira sympathetically looked at her, opening her arms and picking the blonde up.

Yet, Apple continued to shiver, burying her face into the crook of her mother's neck. Eira sighed, when she was much younger (around her sweet Caramel Apple's age) she had adored splashing around in the beach with her nanny, Sharifa, whom she had considered more of a mother than her own.

However, here was her little Apple, almost crying out in fear as the sigh of the ocean. Eira pursed her lips, now that she thought about it, the ocean is quite frightening. Make even a single mistake by going out of lane and you'd be washed away by the tidling waves, dead and never to be found.

Had her daughter already figured that out?

The current Snow White shuddered, laying Apple's favourite blanket onto the sandy beach and took a seat. After a while, the quivering toddler began to calm, shooting a grateful smile towards her caregiver and slowly crawled out of her mother's arms while giggling menacingly.

"What's so funn-"

Eira's face was suddenly full of sand.
