    “Adaine?” Fig asked, her voice quiet in disbelief and apprehension, Adaine’s ears pricked up at that and her huge head flew round to glare at Fig, massive fangs appearing for a second before being hidden when the speaker was recognised.

    “Adaine?” Fig repeated, louder this time but still awed, as she took a few steps closer. Maybe she should have been scared, this monster had just torn apart a freaking Owlbear. But Fig was completely unconcerned for her own safety, Adaine would never hurt her.

    When she was close enough, Fig was almost bowled over by a massive snout knocking into her chest which made her laugh slightly, more in complete bewilderment than amusement.
