The scene before the dino-capped boy was immaculate. His eyes widened, his whole face was in an amused mood, the essence of happiness was in that one scenery before his eyes. Even in little things such as the view before him, it was already enough to make him smile.
His mouth watered. The food already arrived. The scenery was referring to food in front of him. He was hungry.
He immediately grabbed the pieces of fried chicken. Immediately taking a bit alongside with the rice that came along. A mewl escapes his lips — enjoying the food he is eating. When the deliciousness of the meal hits him, everything turns blurry to him.
He didn't realize a certain shadow figure was staring intently, letting the elemental user eat to his heart's content.
Fang smiled. Happy to see the boy enjoy himself with food.
Boboiboy realizes this all too late. Grabbing the tissue and wiping it on his face. A small blush escapes from his cheeks, as he stops eating, "Oh my god! I'm so sorry."
"Why are you sorry about?" Fang inquires, bewilderment hits his face. Confusing every part of him.
"Well, this is already my 2nd chicken — and you haven't eaten yet, wait wait. Help yourself! Eat!" He grabs the other meals the shadow user ordered for him.
It was sweet. Fang helped himself despite his appetite not being in the mood to eat a feast, but for the boy — he didn't hesitate to chow down.
Just from the second bite, Fang seemed slow in eating. The movement of his spoon and fork to a halt. He was a slow eater. Boboiboy on the other hand, enjoyed himself his 1st slice of pizza. He planned on grabbing the spicy sauce next to Fang, wanting to add it to his pizza.
But — in an instant, Boboiboy accidentally drops the spicy sauce, placing it near to Fang. He profusely grabs the tissues as an attempt to wipe the spicy sauce. He mumbles a sorry.
He wasn't this clumsy, well he was clumsy but still.... fate was really cruel to him this day.
Fang then grabs the tissues, placing it tenderly against the elemental boy's face,
while smiling ever so softly. There was crumbles of pizza pieces on Boboiboy's face. Fang wiped it.
"There," he said, pinching Boboiboy's cheeks. The boy's cheeks reddened. Fang's actions were sweet.
"T-thank you," he said, his voice sounding fragile. "Sorry again....."
Fang shoved a pizza into the other boy's mouth. "Again. No need to be sorry to me."
The boy's actions confused the shadow user. First, he was enjoying his food — then the next moment, he was anxious over the littlest mistakes he made. Fang wanted to see the boy enjoying the food.
Boboiboy was a heavy eater. Fang ate in small to moderate amounts.
Picture this image, piles of chicken bones on the elemental hero's plate, the rice tray almost in half done by his appetite. On the other hand, Fang's plate was still filled with rice, his second chicken still on the process of deboning. The latter didn't care for the food, he cared for the person eating the food.
Their agency, TAPOPS, filed the Kokotaim team a 1 week leave. And like any practical person, the team tried to make what's best of their so-called break.
Actually, in this restaurant hangout — Boboiboy invited them all. Yet... only Fang came, with their reasoning in the lines of doing something else.
Well that became a favor for the dino-capped boy. He sort of had a small crush on Fang.
Well not really a small crush. He likes Fang. Well... not really like. He like likes Fang. Basically, he was in love with him. Love was a word so foreign yet so delicious to his lips — a sense of longing that he always had with the shadow user.
And — finding time with his crush brought butterflies to his stomach. Curling him up in excitement as the moment passes. No wonder he was so clumsy, it was because his crush was with him!
"Sometimes, I think of quitting," Boboiboy began, sipping on the milk tea he bought. Wanting to divert the conversation on his other problems.
Fang hums. Listening intently. "Mn."
"But hey, I'm here and I should probably continue doing my job."
Fang adds, "You seemed super stressed lately. And god, your eyebags."
The elemental user smiles wearily. Thinking heavily. Fang was a person whom he found comfortable to speak his whole mind and heart into. "And yeah.... if I don't do these.... then who would? That's why I— i need to do my best and..."
Before the boy even noticed. Boboiboy felt a warm palm before his own. Fang was holding him.
"You're spiralling."
The hero chuckles. "Yeah... Hahahaha."
Fang didn't buy his laugh. It seemed fake. At the heat of moment, Fang clasped his hands tighter and pressed his lips against the forehead of the other boy.
Fang kissed Boboiboy on the forehead.
Fang kissed Boboiboy on the forehead!
"...."
"....."
The boy's cheeks reddened. In an attempt to push himself back, he pushed Fang away, his chest and heart speaking for himself. This was embarrassing!
On the other hand, the shadow user's cheeks reddened. A total regret of his actions. He didn't think this straight! He backed himself too. Slightly scratching his head.
"God, I know I like him! But why did I kiss him in the head!" Fang exclaimed! His cheeks reddening the moments passing.
There was silence, before the boy's lips pursued the conversation.
"....You l-like me?"
Boboiboy heard it all. The tremors in his stomach getting stronger — as his butterflies were making its way away from his beloved stomach. He was frantic.
Fang likes him.
Fang likes him.
Fang likes him.
Fang likes him!
Realization hits him. His knees weakened. His face expressing a true shock of his own desires. Suddenly, the shadow user next to him has his face also red. Truly confirming these! It was... truly shocking.
Without thinking the people surrounding them. The elemental user pressed himself closer to Fang. Waiting for the other to reject his advances.
Fang did not move an inch. Mouthing in his expression to continue.
In the soft moment of letting his heart decide. Boboiboy leaned forward and silently, pressed his lips against the shadow user. On the other hand, Fang returned the favor, furthering the kiss. This was moments. This was the feeling. This was love reaching the veins of his blood. It was a feeling he never though he'd had — until now.
After that, their lips separated. A huge gasp for breath was made as their foreheads were connected with each other.
Leaving their food to be cold.
