Summary
Arcadia Grimmwolf did not grow up in the magical community. Though she's muggle-born, she doesn't have much tethering her to that world. So, when her introduction to the wizarding world comes in the form of a Hogwarts letter, closely followed by a dragon attack, Arcadia tries to take it all in stride. However, between eccentric class assignments, gossiping portraits, moving staircases, and a particularly sassy field guide, it's not going quite as well as she'd like it to...
Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, the students at Hogwarts don't seem too terribly different from students in the muggle world. There's drama, troublemaking, friendships, enemies, frienemies...and a bit more explosions than she's accustom to, but it is what it is.
One thing she is immensely thankful for is the growing friendship between herself and two Slytherin students, Sebastian Sallow and Ominis Gaunt. Though, her relationship with Sebastian may be headed down a path much darker than her first weeks at Hogwarts could have ever prepared her for.
