Summary
Nothing could prepare Serena for what the principal of Nevermore Academy would truly look like. She expected a relatively formidable woman, for who, after all, could run an entire school without a level of formidability? However, she had failed to take into regard height, as it was never of significant interest to her in the past. Serena herself stood at a humbling five foot four, and she had become used to looking up when talking to others. Most of the time, she was now reflecting, she hadn’t needed to look up more than a few inches. Principal Weems had to be nearly a foot taller than her, towering and imposing.
