Summary
Sheets of torrential rain tumble freely from the sky, an icy chill permeating each drop that trembles as they land on pale skin. Tremors wrack the trees that tower above, dropping miniature waterfalls from waxen leaves, quaking in the wind that whips the wet woods into something wild and untameable.
And there, sequestered below the treeline, is an angel.
