Chapter Text
It's the first day back to school after summer break and a lot has changed.
Izuku and Katsuki walk hand in hand into the class with Aizawa following in right behind them. It's still pretty early so the rest of the class has yet to come, so the to boys sit together until the class arrives. The boys had a new look, Katsuki had a shaved undercut that matched his aesthetic to the tea. He claims it 'keeps him cool' in the summer. He had a few new piercings but it was unnoticeable with how many he had before. Izuku on the other hand had a major glow up. His hair was longer and cut into a wolf cut with layers. It framed his face nicely and looked a lot more tamed than his usual look. As for the piercings there was nothing tamed about them. He had snake bites, a tongue piercing, a septum (that happened to be flipped up at the moment), an industrial on one of his ears while the other was littered with fresh piercings.
Katsuki was sitting at his desk with Izuku sitting on the desk facing him while they looked at something on Katsukis' phone. Aizawa jokingly remined Izuku of what would happen if Iida saw him on the desk; referring to the first day when Iida had scolded Katsuki for his feet being on the desk. Izuku simply flipped him of not even sparing a glance at him, to which Aizawa just chuckled and returned to prepping for the lesson. Just then the fist set of students walked in, that group being Tokoyami, Sero, Iida, and Jiruo. The group simply greeted those who where already there and simply went to their seats. Well all except Iida had had been so called reprimanding Izuku; who had not been listening; about sitting on the desk. Izuku made no effort to move and simply ignored Iida finding whatever was on Katsukis' phone more interesting. Iida had given up on trying to 'scold' Izuku when the next group of students showed up. The rest of the self proclaimed bakusquad with in the mix as well as Uraraka and Shinshou. Uraraka walked straight up to Bakugos desk with a bounce in her step.
"Hey Deku!" she said a little to loud for the time of morning
"Hey" was the quick and short response she had gotten from the green haired boy, who had still not looked up
She pouted a little but seemed to have gotten the hint that he didn't want to talk right now. So she went over to Iida to hopeful have better chances of a conversation. The rest of the bakusquad saw that as their turn to try the two boys.
"Hey Bakubro! Wow narley tan dude." the red head know as Kirishima lightly punched Katsukis arm
"How was everyone's summer?" Mina asked practically vibrating
"I was great I went- Midoriya did you do something with your hair?" Denki interrupted himself
"Oh yeah I did! I let it grow out a little" Izuku beamed up at them with his signature smile
They all stopped and stared at him, this being the first time he's looked up all morning they have just gotten view of the new piercings. Izuku shrank in on himself; not as much as he would of before but still a noticeable amount.
"Does it look bad?" he ask twirling a piece of the hair in his fingers
"Oi extras stop staring" Katsuki finally adds to the conversation
"No! It looks great. It's just...um" Kirishima struggles to find the right words
"When did you get piercings!" Denki finishes for him
The class drops silent. The students that are currently walking through the door stop midway, conversations are cut short and all eyes fall on the One for all user. All except Shinshou you is sitting two seats behind them smirking trying but failing to stifle a laugh.
"Oh these. I dunno maybe 2 months ago" Izuku shrugs off the question like it was obvious
"Those are sick man, totally manly" Kirishima says pounding his fist together
Before any more can be said Mr. Aizawa begins class.
At lunch the class pushes a few tables to allow them all to sit together. I t was going fine till it wasn't. Denki and Kirishima who had been sitting across from Izuku and Bakugo were ruff housing and ended up bumping their trays into Izukus'. Causing a bowl of hot curry to fall onto Izukus lap.
"Shit shit shit, thats hot." Izuku cursed under his breath trying to remove the hot curry from his legs
"I am so sorry bro it was an accident." Kaminari apologies
Bakugo who had gone to get some napkins to clean up the mess passes them to Kirishima. who quickly takes them and begins cleaning the mess. Katsuki then walks over to Izuku who was standing quite a ways from the table now. Grabbing his arm and leading them out the cafeteria
"Come on Zuku let's get you cleaned up" Katsuki grumbled
The class stare in shock for the second time today. Not so much because Bakugo was nice to Izuku they had seemed to patch up their relationship by the beginning of second year. It was more so the new nickname (some would call pet name) Bakugo had used. In recent days the bite held behind the nickname 'deku' dissipated but this was completely out of left field.
And did Bakugo just grab Midoriyas hand!
Sero was the first person to come back to reality.
"Did Midoriya just curse?" Sero practically wispered but the table still heard him
"It would seem so" Todoroki stated bluntly
"I knew him hanging around Bakugo would be a bad influence." Uraraka huffed
The class turned to look at Uraraka. Varying looks from glares to just down right pity. Its common knowledge that Uraraka has what one would call a crush on Izuku. But it's also very easy to see that it is one sided.
The rest of the day went smoothly. There wee no more surprises everything was practically back to normal. That was until Mina came sprinting into the common room phone in hand yelling about some new discovery. Most of the class was downstairs scattered throughout the kitchen and common room. Except those resident introverts of the class you could probably guess who. The remaining class came into the common room to see what Mina had been yelling about. She had hooked up her phone to the TV and it was currently displaying what seemed to be a social media platform.
"Midoriya has a secret Instagram!" she beamed
And sure enough up on the screen read:
