Work Text:
Eijiro groaned, looking at his boyfriend with a plea in his eyes. They had been studying for 4 hours straight--okay about an hour, but he was tired! He just wanted to cuddle with his boyfriend and have a nice dinner. Not read the stuff for hero law history on a weekend.
“Ei. I swear. Just these two more chapters we’re done with this shit.”
“But, why?” He frowned, letting his book fall on Katsuki's bed. He moved to where he was on Katsuki’s lap, looking up at him with a pout.
Katsuki put his book down, frowning at him before clicking his teeth, “Eiji, come on. We have a test on Monday.”
“Then we can study on Sunday!”
“You won't want to study tomorrow, either. Let's just get this shit out of the way.”
“But we can be done now! I'm tired and I'm sooo cold.”
“You're not gonna convince me.” Katsuki tried to deepen his frown, but he couldn't miss the twitch of his smile.
Eijiro smiled, “Just imagine. Me, you. On this bed. Having a nice nap and then going to your favorite place for dinner. And you're so happy ‘cause you have a nice and considerate boyfriend who cares about your rest and feeds you good food. And then we come home and we kiss a little and then fall asleep and study more tomorrow.”
Katsuki let out a laugh, so quiet and raspy, but beautiful all the same, “Nice fucking try, moron.”
Eijiro’s pout came back as Katsuki picked his book back up, “Babe! Come on! I even threw kissing in there.”
“Fucking hell, Eiji. Just--let's finish this shit up all the way and then we can do your dumb cuddling and dinner and kissing. And do that all day tomorrow, I promise.”
“But we can do all that now!”
Katsuki glared, “Fine.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, whatever.” Katsuki smirked, “But I won't kiss you till after the test on Monday.”
“Wait, no! Don't take kissing away from me. It's my favorite part!”
He saw a hint of a blush on Katsuki's face before he let out another laugh, “If you stop being such a baby and power through these last chapters I won't.”
“But I'm your baby.”
Katsuki threw his book down, letting out a groan as he reached for his face, his blush now covering his neck and ears.
“Ugh!” He shouted while squishing his cheeks, “Fucking stop it!”
Katsuki's hold on his face turned into a caress, his thumb brushing over his smile and chin. He traced from his eyebrows to his cheeks, tapping his nose before his face softened in that way he loved. When his eyes looked as soft as a cloud, his lips in a small pout.
“Alright. Compromise. I'll read the next two chapters out loud. Okay?”
“Okay.” He agreed, grabbing Katsuki's blanket and placing it over himself.
“Don't fall asleep on me, Ei.”
“I won't. I promise.”
Katsuki grabbed his book again, opening it and turning some pages.
As he brought it up to his face to read, Eijiro smiled.
“The course of hero law changed when…”
Eijiro bent up to kiss one of Katsuki's hands that was holding that book that was so boring he could cry.
Katsuki sighed, “The course of hero law changed when several heros were campaigning for stricter protection…”
Eijiro smiled, closing his eyes as Katsuki read out the rest. Maybe it wasn't so bad if he got to hear Katsuki's voice non stop. He really did love his voice. And he really did love Katsuki. Maybe he’d tell him that tonight.
