Summary

Visery, who had always tried to avoid conflict and was already married to Alicent, made what he considered the wisest choice. He disinherited Rhaenyra and made Aegon his heir. Unable to bear being in the red keep and pretending to be a happy family with people who usurped her, Rhaenyra chose to live in the Vale, with her late mother's family.
