Summary
Alternate Universe in which Dudley is a stillbirth and Petunia and Vernon are told they can't have any more children. Petunia renames him Benjamin and treats him like the son she'll never have, while Vernon resents him for taking Dudley's place. To help control Benjamin's Accidental Magic, Petunia introduces him to the Wizarding World early and allows him to run around the Wizarding World in disguise all morning. Once the Accidental Magic is out of his system, Petunia spends the afternoon and evening homeschooling him.
When Benjamin is seven, Petunia unexpectedly gets pregnant. She dies giving birth to her daughter, Marguerite. Vernon buries himself in work and can't bring himself to interact with his newborn daughter or his much-reviled nephew. One day, the infant Marguerite does Accidental Magic in front of her father, leading him to attack Benjamin for contaminating his daughter with his freakishness. Benjamin takes baby Marguerite and runs away to the Wizarding World. He disguises himself as an adult and struggles to support himself and Marguerite, determined to provide Marguerite with the love that Auntie Petunia would have given her and everything a little Princess could want.

Universo alternativo in cui Dudley è un bambino nato morto e a Petunia e Vernon viene detto che non possono più avere figli. Petunia lo ribattezza Benjamin e lo tratta come il figlio che non avrà mai, mentre Vernon si risente di lui per aver preso il posto di Dudley. Per aiutare a controllare la magia accidentale di Benjamin, Petunia lo introduce presto nel mondo magico e gli permette di correre per il mondo magico sotto mentite spoglie tutta la mattina. Una volta che la magia accidentale è fuori dal suo sistema, Petunia passa il pomeriggio e la sera a istruirlo a casa.
Quando Benjamin ha sette anni, Petunia rimane inaspettatamente incinta. Muore dando alla luce sua figlia, Marguerite. Vernon è immerso nel lavoro e non riesce a interagire con la figlia appena nata o con il tanto vituperato nipote. Un giorno, la piccola Marguerite fa magia accidentale davanti a suo padre, portandolo ad attaccare Benjamin per aver contaminato sua figlia con la sua stranezza. Benjamin prende la piccola Marguerite e scappa nel mondo magico. Si traveste da adulto e lotta per mantenere se stesso e Marguerite, determinato a fornire a Marguerite l'amore che zia Petunia le avrebbe dato e tutto ciò che una piccola principessa può desiderare. -
