   Summary

   Summer of 1914. Belgium has been invaded by the Germans leaving only one region of Flanders relatively free of the horrors of the war. It's where Leonard tends to his farm, taking care of the land, his neighbours, and Mathilde. Mathilde whom his son left behind to join the Resistance.
