Summary
Stiles grew up with the Hale pack. His mother was their emissary and always brought him and his older brother, Travis, with her when she went. He was especially close to Derek though. There was a bond there that couldn't be ignored. Talia noticed it first then others. They brushed it off as puppy love until an old prophecy was found in the Hale archives by Claudia. It spoke of an ancient power that was to be awoken. Before Claudia could properly train her son to be prepared she died, her Spark passing to him. Talia feared that the power would be too much for Stiles so she had Deaton put a damper on it. Stiles and Derek eventually started dating when Stiles was 15 but on his 16th birthday the damper broke. His power rolled out of him. It terrified him and he ran to Talia who finally told him the truth. A decision was made. A decision Stiles would always regret. He had to leave. He had to go and seek training from a pack on the east coast. But Derek couldn't come with him. So, with a heavy heart they faked Stiles's and Travis's death. Years later Derek is now an alpha and the nematon is dying. The only thing that can fix it is the Spark. Little does he know who the Spark is and what this means.
