Summary of In your Arms Again:
Shortly before beginning university, Merlin nearly drowns in Lake Avalon and is rescued as Arthur emerges from the depths after nearly 1,500 years. Reincarnation has brought almost everyone back together, even though they cannot yet remember their past lives. In the present age, magic is undergoing a chaotic rebirth, and the world is struggling with the implications. Some oppose the return of the Old Gods, while others seek new sources of power in an uncertain era. Struggling with aspects of his own identity, Merlin's memories return more swiftly than the others, but the return of those memories breaks open old wounds and raises new questions. Arthur, happy to be back at Merlin's side, seems to know more than he's letting on, but even he is unsure about why this is the moment for his return. Soon out and out war erupts between magical, non-magical, and pseudo-magical groups who vie for control over the public narrative of the rebirth of magic. Camelot may be gone, but it is not forgotten.
