Summary
During a call where Carlos and TK help Carlos’ high school crush from the wrestling team, the fiancés are invited to dinner as a thank you. TK finds himself triggered in a surprising way, while Carlos reflects on his closeted teenhood and how different – or in some ways similar – his life is now. Can our heroes rescue each other from past traumas before they begin their future together? There are conflicts and resolutions to be had before dawn.

Carlos stands at the shadowy end of the group, where he'd decided he belonged. He’s posing next to Sean, and he cringes when he sees his hand hovering above Sean’s shoulder instead of resting on it. All the other guys are touching. Some are clutching each other’s waists. Carlos wouldn’t have dared. He was convinced that he’d accidentally out himself with a sneeze, a blink of his eyes, a scratch of his face – never mind a misplaced hand.
